About me

I am a Psychologist (CRP 05/69944) with a degree from the Brazilian Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (IBMR). In this section, you will find more information about my practice and therapeutic approach.

Online Therapy for Adults
I provide online psychotherapeutic sessions for adults, both individually and in groups, using video conferencing. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+ or feel different from societal expectations.

Curiosity about Life and Human Beings
I have a deep curiosity about life and people. I enjoy paying attention, listening, and seeking to understand others’ perspectives to the best of my ability. I believe that the same situation can be completely different when seen through a different lens, through the perspective of another story.

My Journey and Flexibility
Throughout my journey, I have experienced various personal and professional experiences. In the past, I saw these experiences as a lack of purpose, but today I understand that they have provided me with a repertoire and greater flexibility to adapt to the changes life demands. These experiences have contributed to making me a more capable professional to empathize, understand, and support the complexity of each individual.

Multi-cultural Experience
I started my professional life at the age of 18, working in the commercial and administrative area of an English course for adults. Later, I became a teacher and pedagogical coordinator. Thanks to my fluency in English, I had the opportunity to serve and counsel people from different cultures and backgrounds as a Tarot reader on international platforms. Over the years, I have worked with more than 10,000 individuals, which has provided me with valuable learning about the complexities of human beings.

Path to Psychology and Evidence-Based Practices
My academic journey was somewhat complicated, with various changes in majors until I finally found my calling in Psychology. During my education, I developed an interest in evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapies, seeking to learn the best protocols and techniques to treat mental disorders and alleviate human suffering. Currently, I continue to study neuroscience and related subjects to better understand the complex functioning of our emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and social interactions.

Personalized Therapy for Each Individual
As a Clinical Psychologist, I offer cognitive-behavioral therapy based on assumptions and techniques grounded in evidence and updated with advances in cognitive science and neuroscience. However, I always prioritize a warm and empathetic approach, active and attentive listening, a relaxed and lighthearted attitude, and my unwavering and profound respect for individuals. I believe that each person is unique and carries their own story and experiences. Therefore, my therapeutic processes are personalized, taking into account the specific needs and demands of each client.

Long-Term Therapy and Brief Counseling
I offer both long-term therapy and brief counseling, depending on the needs and goals of each person. Long-term therapy is suitable for those who wish to explore personal issues in greater depth, deal with past traumas, develop lasting coping skills, or work on entrenched patterns of thinking and behavior. Brief counseling is a valuable option for addressing specific short-term challenges, such as significant events, stressful situations, improving communication, or developing confidence in specific situations. Both therapeutic formats are designed to provide personalized and effective support according to your individual needs.

Therapeutic Relationship Based on Trust
I prioritize a therapeutic relationship based on mutual trust, deep respect, and collaboration. I believe that this foundation is essential for fostering growth and healing. We will work together to develop a realistic action plan and achieve your therapeutic goals, respecting your pace and needs.

Schedule a Compatibility Session
If you are interested in starting your therapeutic journey, I invite you to schedule a compatibility session. During this session, we can connect and assess whether we are compatible to work together. It is a safe and welcoming space where you can share your concerns, challenges, and goals. Remember that the decision to continue with therapy is yours, without pressure or commitment. I am here to support you at your own pace.
